Our National Park is a great place to get active. This is not a fenced-off preserve – it’s a living, working landscape which will bring out your adventurous side.
We believe in making mountain biking accessible to everyone from extreme to serene. Whether you are completely new to mountain biking or a seasoned downhill pro, BikePark at Gethin Woods, Wales will offer you an incredible biking experience unlike anything you have experienced in the UK before.
Glynneath Golf Club
Glynneath Golf Club is situated in South Wales and lies within the Brecon Beacons National Park - an area of outstanding natural beauty. Non-members are always very welcome!! The excellent M4 and A465 road links provide easy access for visitors from far and near. We are only 20 minutes from Swansea and 30 from Cardiff. Our central location means we are very easily accessible to the many members and visitors we have from all over South, Mid and West Wales. We are frequently visited by golfers from all over the UK, many of whom come to Wales for a short break and stop with us on the way to or from their destination.
Celtic Minor Golf Club was established in February 2015 from a land and asset purchase from Palleg Golf Club by Tir Canol Holdings. Situated in the heart of the Brecon Beacons we are blessed with incredible views across the Swansea Valley throughout the golf course.
There are a wide range of adventure activities In the area such as Rock Climbing, Caving, Open Canoeing, Kayaking, Gorge Walking, White Water Rafting, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Archery, High Level Ropes, Raft Building, Land Carting, Abseiling, Orienteering, Paintballing, Mountain biking and even Canoe and Bike Hire.

Walters - AN INTERNATIONALLY FAMOUS VENUE
The site quickly evolved to become a major international motorsport complex. Hosting the internationally prestigious Welsh round of the World Rally Championships, The RAC Rally and Wales Rally GB amongst the events. Now firmly established as an internationally famous testing venue for Manufactures World Rally teams, it’s had its share if very famous patrons, (5 in one day!) with most of the recent World Rally Champions having tested there at one time or another. It’s also used by world leading manufacturers to develop their road cars and competition derivatives. There are several national and international competition events held there for rally cars, 4×4 vehicles, etc Manufacturers and dealers often hire the venue for new model press launches and corporate events, also Walters Arena has featured on Top Gear, Fifth Gear, Wheeler Dealers and may more TV Programmes.
Home to the BMW Off-Road Skills Motorcycle experience for many years, it’s become embedded in the psyche of budding Adventure motorcyclists from around the world. The Dawn To Dusk 24hr motorcycle Enduro race is also hosted by the venue and internationally attended.
Brimming with life and wreathed in legend, the waterfalls and rapids in our National Park add an exciting, picturesque and thoroughly romantic touch to our woodlands and hillsides.
One part of our Park, at the head of the Vale of Neath, has so many wonderful waterfalls that we call it Waterfall Country. Many of these cascades are easily accessible on foot, as long as you’re prepared to walk through beautiful woods to get there.
